The Art of Restoration

This is a skilled and very time consuming occupation. Contrary to popular belief, it is not about getting the right software and pressing a few buttons. The following services are a guide and we will ensure that you will always know beforehand what the likely costs are going to be.
There is also a fine line between restoration and artistic invention. In the above picture most of the detail is still there and just needs to be brought back to life. Sometimes, with missing bits of a picture, it is possible to use other parts of the same or similar pictures. There are limits to restoring badly faded colour and we will discuss the extent of restoration with you.
